Kind of feel like most people at least tolerated Man of Steel and Returns? Even when they didn't like certain aspects (like Snyder being on his Randian bullshit).
If it's an improvement you're in at least "that was okay" territory.

Yeah. We figured. Synder's Superman is interesting, but in many ways unfun.

How dare they! Superman Returns is a national treasure. We waited a long time for a third Singer X-Men film to get it, so we should treasure it.
