Wishing there were a good writing prompt Lemmy community.

Same. I'm hoping someone would start a fresh community for it some time in the near future.
If you're into spooky stories, you might keep an eye on !lemmyscareyou@lemmy.world for scary story prompts. It's not gotten going just yet, but it might!
There's also https://lemmy.world/c/writingprompt@lemmy.ca with a few prompts already there but no one's run with any yet.
- You can make those links more universal like this:

  [writing things](/c/writingprompt@lemmy.ca) → writing things
  This format will help people on different Lemmy instances get to these communities on their instances' view of them.

  The only reason I haven't been doing it that way is I've read feedback from folks on apps that those links don't consistently work for them, so for remote instance communities I've been trying to just provide the raw URL instead in hopes that it may help.
