Every time I hear them praise this bill, it sounds like baby-talk: "Big beautiful bill". JFC.

I know... I saw a photo from a while back with Mike Johnson at a lectern that had a "Big Beautiful Bill" logo on it.
The fact that, in some official capacity, that's the actual name of this bill makes me want to trepan myself.

Every horrible bill has an optimistic happy sounding name that goes well with baby talk. The happier baby talk it is, the worst it will be.

Same thing for the PATRIOT Act.

2 0 Replylol I remember the patriot act; forgotten battles… I had so many issues with stuff going on at that time and was pretty naive then too. I think one of the things that made me realize how messed up things were, were the amazing reactions to 9-11 and similar. I was just stunned
