Anyone sad that @starfield didn't knock it out of the park on release day has never played a Bethesda game on release day. wait for it.

I don't understand? I a hypothetical scenario, if someone scores 30% on all of their tests and then scores 55% one time, that is not acing a test. Comparing anything to previous Bethesda releases is irrelevant, aside from a history of disappointing release days. You should not have to wait for patches and fixes to say a game is good.
But Bethesda has an ace up their sleeve, or rather, several aces up other people's sleeves? Anyway, mods. Not really anything Bethesda does themselves, but by being open to it, it makes their otherwise mediocre games down right awesome.
You know what else isn't very great during the release period? The mods.
Coming back to say I did put a fair amount of hours into it, however I have found I am not burnt out. I am curious if your opinion is still the same or has it changed?
@FelixMortane Normally I would agree, save for that Bethesda games have always had this problem. I can't remember a time when a game from them dropped and wasn't buggy as all get out on day one. so this would seem to be a trend for the company, no?
