As it should. In a world where everyone is talking big about freedom, one should have the choice of where and when to die as well.
I'm 43, i watched both my parents suffer, and i don't want that. I have alm the papers signed and ready so that when that time comes, i have it on paper that its my wish to end my life as i wish.
Part of this stems from my suicidal moods in the past. The idea that the only way to end your suffering, is by making other people suffer (family that finds you, train drivers that get traumatized, etc etc) is just wrong.
Ofcourse we need good regulations for these kind of decisions, we shouldn't have a situation where you wake up and say "oh i feel bad i want to die" and the doctor says "oh here's a pill goodbye", but it shouldn't be nearly impossible either. Especially for those with mental or declining health.
