  • No one.

I talk to gods (as I am talking now to you), commune with them, but I don't follow or worship anyone.

Faith is a little bit like masturbation.
I'm not ashamed of it (I tell people "I'm pagan."), but talking about the specifics of something so private to me feels awkward and so I don't tend to get into it.

this is in no way a slight against this thread nor the existence of this magazine.

    • I get what you're saying. I also talk to the gods I worship like normal conversations, but I also like to celebrate them on certain days / times of the year. Thanks for sharing what you're comfortable with!

  • Guess I'll chime in since I finally got some time!

I'm a Naturalistic Pagan. When I began I did consider following either the Ancient Egyptian, Greek or Roman gods as I've always had an interest love for them since I was a kid learning history and mythology. That being said I know some pagans don't care for or count non-theists in their ranks, and as I don't believe in the existence of gods anyway, I opt'd to use a purposely fictional pantheon instead of one any typical pagans would have a connection to.

As philosophy wise the ideas of cosmicism and optimistic nihilism fit me to a 'T', my pantheon is the Old Ones from the works of Lovecraft. (Which ended up being funny as I didn't wanna 'copying' one community and ended up finding another existing community cause there's lots of us lol).
