2 passes. Face lather. Excellent shave.
This was a test shave of a Puma 89 Puma Special that I honed with a Karasu Jnat. My goal for the edge was to emphasize that soft feel that a Jnat can provide. The edge was comfortable but missed on the softness a bit. I think I got the edge a little too keen.
Alive by House of Mammoth set a wonderful tone for the shave and made for a very enjoyable sensory experience.

Monday is for Mike’s. It’s dreary as heck out and glad I got to use some brighter scented software.

Software firsts for today's shave in Cella and Queen, and a Gillette 7 O'Clock Sharpedge (yellow). Cella is super easy to lather, and has a very good lather all in all. Leaves the face very neutral too, maybe just a bit on the drier side, but not too much. It also smells amazing albeit very low scent strength. Marzipan or sour cherries, depending on how you're wired. NO aftershave also feels really nice and Queen smells pretty much like how I imagined it. Works really well with Cella, although I have to see what else in my den fits it.
The blade was also a new experience. Very smooth, other than it having glue dots this is the best blade I've tried. Does anyone know if they're still made in Russia? I have a 5blade tuck from 2023 that's from there, and I'm honestly thinking about just getting a lifetime supply

Another run with the straight went decently well, though still had some nicks in the process. Vetiver, Cubebe, and Oro Vally play together quite nicely.

I almost used a DE today, but thrill got the best of me. Great shave with the MOARteen. My skin isn't quite as happy as it usually is, but it'll be fine.
The shave I got is ultra smooth. Frankie & Myrna is one of my favorite smells. Such a nice blend of interesting scents.
For anyone who likes the MOAR Boar brush, but wishes it had a little bit more loft - you should get a Zenith B2. I include both nomenclatures in the SOTD so you can either search for B03-A26 and get it cheap from Europe, or search for B2 and pay a little more to have it shipped from the USA (B2 is the designator used by The Gentle Shave).
