He’s too rich, white, and willing to promote their agenda to be sent to an El Salvador prison camp.
Give it time. Purging their own quickly becomes a priority.
If fascism in the us manages to fester into its next form I can easily see this scenario playing out. Jordan is just enough of an ideologue to ruffle the feathers of the wrong idiot with power.
Ironic, since he’s long been obsessed with the dangers of falling into the tyranny of left-wing authoritarianism.
So he willingly runs into the arms of right-wing authoritarianism.
At the end of the day, authoritarianism all looks fairly alike in practice. So he may get to experience a taste what he’s long feared (just the Nazi variety, not the Communist variety). So it’s almost like a self-fulfilling prophecy, attracting what you most fear and all that.
Look, maybe Canada has warts. Maybe I don’t like the idea of being forced to use pronouns or whatever, I dunno. But that “woke” stuff is far better than the darkness that’s brewing here in the US, especially here in the South. People are embracing Fascism, full-throated, here. I want out. I’d happily trade places with Dr. Peterson and move my family to Canada.
