It's always a good idea to do everything we can to save electricity - by turning off unused equipment, using HVAC systems sensibly, and not leaving appliances in standby mode.

But last week, during a particularly hot spell, Nikki was paid money by here Utility company to use no power from the grid - and she earned money in the process... with a little help from her electric vehicle.
