They don't give a crap about his morals, they just wanted to ban abortion and push their radical political agenda for a theocratic fascist state onto a fully captive set of government branches.

I think some of them are legit trying to speed run the rapture. Trump checks many of the antichrist boxes.
There's always the true believers.
In my experience, though, you get a lot more true believers on the parts that are also super convenient for your immediate political and personal goals.
