CloudNordic said a ransomware attack destroyed customer data on its servers, including primary and secondary backups.
that's probably the end for them. pretty sure there are going to be many lessons learned for others though
It has to be. "You lost everything from the last week" is really bad but maybe survivable. "We don't have cold backups" isn't.
Speaking of which I need to test some backups.
