Im going through SL1 Elden Ring. I tried to not use the mohg shackle and to 'git gud', but i realised im just going to sleep pot the godskin duo fight later on anyways. Why is one form of making a boss fight easier acceptable and the other is not as accepable?

If you don't beat every boss first try, you're cheating, because you're getting practice which makes the fight easier
Me when I cheat on a test (I memorized all of the course material to make it easier)
