No surprise here. The man was not only a genius, from what I have read he and a wicked sense of humour as well.

Imagine being the clumsy bastard who killed Hawking.
- A friend of mine almost ran him over once when Hawking randomly swerved out into the road in front of him. He was pretty wild in his own way.

His interview with John Oliver is funny.
So he really was a robot?
There was a rumor that he would 'accidentally' run over the toes of people he didn't like. When asked about it, he said something like "that's not true, and I'll run over anyone who says it is."
