At this point, just turn it off and back on again.
The reboot time is a bitch, and the hardware may not power back up correctly. The firmware is unstable, and you might just brick the whole thing. Might just end up with a pretty paperweight.
Might be better than what we have now, no? At least a paperweight has a function.
Dispensing with the metaphorβ¦ a failed reboot either means no humans, which some might argue is just fine; or a situation where we wind up back in the stone age because if everything really collapses then all surface minerals are tapped out and we canβt build machines to reach the deep minerals because we donβt have the minerals to build the machines.
Either option would be good for earth, as a whole, but bad to really for humanity.
