Much more than books: The case for robust funding for the Toronto Public Library

I remember when there was a distinction between libraries and community centres. It's too bad that libraries are basically community centres now.

I find it almost impossible to locate a quiet study environment for distance learning. Everywhere you go in this city there's always someone having a horizontal phone call, talking loudly or listening to music on their speaker. Can't even get peace in your own apartment anymore.

If you don't understand why you need the library... You probably need the library.
