The former American football player says he was misled into signing documents that placed him under conservatorship instead of adoption and is asking to be paid money made off his story.
I just saw this. My wife and I love this movie, and always excpected that it would stretch the truth a bit. Anyone know more about this, or have and insights to what it means (legally, morally, etc).

They better, just so he can get the money he deserves
Why does he deserve any money? You can't copyright facts.
Because it's his life story... Why do random people who took advantage of him deserve money?
They don't, either.
It being his life story doesn't matter. It's a true story, he can't copyright it.
