- 10 was already deep into hiding settings and fragmenting the control panel.
  11 is much worse.

I’m behind, how did Minecraft get enshittified? I catch the occasional stream and the game looks like it’s on another level from when I last played in like 2012

Java edition is still generally okay, but MS has been trying to cram it in the typical mobile game mold with a store and stuff. If MS had made Minecraft, we'd probably have item stacks of 10 or 100 rather than 64. :D

What happens to Maps?
- Google started charging for the map api use of their service, there are ads in search and the ui is horrendous.
  The one guy running altgrocery got charged hundreds of dollars because people flooded their website’s map in search of local independent grocers.
  That’s why I’m on Organic maps instead now. It’s got 1% of the user base and 10.5% contributors as Google maps has. The UI is clean and the map is easy to contribute to.
