The U.S. Navy on Monday became the third branch of the military to no longer have a Senate-confirmed leader for the first time in history, as a Republican senator continues to block military nominations.
Long since time the prez appoint some 'acting chiefs' -- this represents a clear and present threat, and not just from our rivals on the world stage.
The world is not a theatre and I'm not an extra in an audition for the lead actor. Perhaps a more collaborative approach would yield better results and fewer perceived threats.
