This is the result of Murdoch controlling the media. America is Capitalism in the extreme. Trumpism is nothing than a knee jerk reaction to having been abused for such a long time. Nah, the working class is just being ignored by the two parties and Trump has been exploiting that. He talks of being an outsider while him and his buddies enjoy tax breaks and deregulated industry. They keep the maga's focused on culture war shit to ensure they don't think about the economics for too long.

Imo this is why culture war stuff is pushed so much by fox news and why they demonize “marxism” so much. They’re really scared their truck worker and middle class audience will realize how much they have in common with socialists etc
