Princeton RCMP said a quartet were riding ATVs near Coalmont Sunday evening when one of the vehicles caught fire, and flames rapidly spread near the viallage. [sic]
I feel like ATVs don't just catch on fire or is it just me? Seems more likely the brush ignited due to exhaust pipes or something
- I would guess so as well, considering most people (myself included until a few years ago) are unaware that combustion engines create so much heat that can easily happen in the right conditions.
- Other articles say it malfunctioned, so it may be closer to the truth. I just find the use of passive tone was a bit eyebrow raising because it removed accountability from the ATV driver
