Hunt: Showdown 1896 represents the next era of Hunt, with an upgraded engine and new map coming in August.
So, are they changing the game's name? I understand the August update is sort of a soft relaunch.
Maybe? If so, it's just adding the year at the end, so very minor change...and everyone will still just call it Hunt.
It just seems like a contrived and long name to me, but yeah, its minor. Honestly the map looks cool, but I want assurance about things that worry me going forward for me to know I'll return to the game, like how controller assist will work, and if I can opt out of queueing with people who use it.
