Heat waves are making restaurant kitchens unsafe. Workers are fighting back.

In 2022 there was a hot wave in summer here (usually temperated climate), a restaurant owner told me in the kitchen was so hot in the kitchen his refrigerators snapped, so he had to change it for a one with Tropical class engine, designed for an average ambient temperature of 40°C.

He didn't seem to be much worried about the kitchen staff health...
