As far as I can tell, the 1949 map hasn't been publicly digitised, but here's one from 1947: https://www.victorianrailways.net/vr%20map/vrmap47.html

Nice video.
One of the great things is his really deep knowledge and resources he could pull together to create an interesting video, like, 'the place had a rail bridge, like this other one thats still in use, here's a picture' etc
