The roundabout by my house is even bigger, you can drive along it for weeks and still be in its borders.

I assume you're talking about the afsluitdijk, the straight part connecting the two land masses at the North. It's actually a big dyke that you can drive on, it's a critical part of the land reclamation system and basically the reason flevoland exists, it's cool.

Sure Texas is 11 hours across, but if you really want the scenic route why not try the perimeter , is only it's only 2 days more!
