Summer long bike valet service at Granville skytrain station

Free and secure downtown Bike Valet service debuts next week

I love this idea, but those closing times (6:30pm, or 8pm on weekends) are much too early. The sun doesn’t even set until after 9pm…
- It's a free service and has to be staffed. I don't feel there's much wiggle room to complain about the operating hours lol
  
  It is paid for with taxes, requesting more hours would be no different from requesting the government invest in anything else
If this is successful then I'd like to see them consider staffing the bike parkades at Main St, Commercial, Metrotown etc. At the moment there's too much theft going on there for me to ever think about leaving my bike there.
All you'd need to provide is a desk and staffing - all the infrastructure is obviously there already.

I'd love to see how the costs for this break down. Given that TransLink is providing the space free of charge, what's a sustainable fee to offer this service everywhere (aka cover labour cost)? $1/entry? $10/month/user? I'd gladly pay that.

I'm much more hesitant to go with my new bike anywhere and leave it than with my previous beater bike. Now I know, where I can safely leave it and use my bike more often.
