I make more than Kelowna's city councillors, even after their raise? Maybe that one isn't such a big deal. There's something to be said for the idea that if councillors can't live off the income from that job, you are limiting those who are going to be interested to people already wealthy enough to not need it to begin with.
Man, I have to add in the side hustle to get those numbers.
