Honestly a strong start to an anime I was expecting to be trash. Im hoping it stays strong and that I end up feeling stupid for thinking bad about it.
MC is a bit of an oddball, but doesn’t seem like a bad dude. Little dense, but what isekai MC isn’t at least as dense as gold.
The premise is this 👌 close to overdone for me (im overpowered but no one knows! Including me!) but I can bear with it for a bit longer, hopefully it ends better than Summoned for a Second Time or I Got a Cheat Skill (seriously that shit was beyond bad).
Overall im looking forward to EP2
Summoned for a 2nd time was so mid, cheat skill is almost bad enough to wrap around into funny.
Honestly giving the 2 time a mid rating is generous to me, I’m not sure on what you’ve seen but if you’ve seen Arifureta I’d put THAT above summoned for a 2nd time.
Gotta agree with you on the wrap around tho, definitely something id never suggest, but im keeping it in my back pocket in case someone asks for a good isekai anime, just to fuck with them. (Is it even an isekai?)
It's as much of an isekai as "Saving 80,000 Gold in Another World for My Retirement" is
I think that's a fair assessment of what this first episode.
We'll have to wait and see....
TBH, I'm already tired of red-head maid...
Unbelievable, how could you not like the maid that went "be my master" in less than 2 minutes? /s
I get the feeling that we're gonna have to wait a few episodes to really make a final judgement call on her character. Just can't say whether she's a victim of "just get the show moving" or "she's hopeless"
