A lot of the proprietary ACC applications are very expensive. Archer created an app called Free Speech based on his relationship with his sister named Della who uses AAC technology. Free Speech quickly became one of the most popular free AAC applications on the market.

  • I am excited to hear about an open-source AAC app! FreeSpeechAAC is not on F-Droid yet. I hope that changes soon! I currently have "Speech Assistant," but it blocks dark mode in the free tier. I look forward to switching!
