Haven't yet deleted my 11y.o account. I know there's content associated with it that I can't delete. Raised a GDPR "right to erasure" request that I am fully prepared to go to court to see enforced.
If u/Spez continues to make shitty decisions with the platform, but with respect to data privacy laws, he's going to be put over a barrel by the ICO, and he can kiss the idea of ever taking Reddit public goodbye.
