Most apps on the list are lemmy apps, meaning they don't work with kbin. Artemis is specifically designed to work with kbin, not sure if or when any of the other ones will go in that direction or become interoperable as there are some challenges with the kbin API at the moment. Having said that, a new API is in the works so things should get better with time.
KBin and Lemmy are both federated link aggregators (a link aggregator in this case is a type of forum website, like Reddit). They both federate using the ActivityPub standard, so servers running Lemmy and KBin are able to talk to each other and share information, at the server level they speak the same language. However, they are separate pieces of software and therefore have different data APIs (special URLs that user software can use to network with a server), and because of that any Lemmy/KBin app has to come up with separate functions to interact with Lemmy vs. KBin.
