Pentagon Puts Greenland Under US Northern Command
The Pentagon has given U.S. Northern Command responsibility for Greenland as President Trump has proposed annexing the terrority.

This is a step towards invasion.
Given that geographically it is on the North American continent, shares a land border with Canada, and is in the Arctic I think this decision does make logical sense.
The timing though, and Trump's stated intention, makes this a threat.
His intention is very clear.
Yes, as I mentioned he said so himself that he wants to annex Greenland even if by military force.
Trump's threats are far more threatening than some pretty reasonable beaurocratic moves, although the threats do put the beaurocratic moves in a really unflattering context (regardless of whether it's related or not, I have no idea on that front, I don't know if the northern command is MAGA).
