How can I migrate my account over to a new instance?
Go to your settings, export your settings, then import them on the new account.
Will I loose my Saves?
Ah you mean your saved posts? You will not lose that. You can download the file and see what is in there.
The file basically have: profile settings, followed_communities, saved_posts, saved_comments, blocked_communities, blocked_users, blocked_instances
What saves?
You will lose your post history
You can save posts and comments. Not sure how other apps do it since I mostly use Voyager but it's pretty obvious in that app.
Sounds like they do save which is pretty cool. Will be sad to lose my post and comment history, but at least I have my saved posts and comments.
Yep, I've noticed later, I never used it so I didn't even remember it exists, but well, that you can send to your new account
I've used it a lot to save stuff I want to read or watch later, and then always forget about it lol.
