I am looking To buy an EV soon and the Skoda elroq and enyaq look very interesting as I want a family car. The enyaq seems to have ~100L more of trunk space, but other that, there really doesn't seem to be much difference. This 100L difference does not justify the 8000 euro price difference.
Am I missing something here? I would like to have a larger trunk, but for this price difference I might opt for the elroq and make due with the 470L trunk.
I also find the price difference surprising. A lot of car production cost goes towards things which are less obvious to see (insulation, suspension, ...). I would certainly test drive both to see if you notice any differences.
Sales people here said they're the same car but just with a smaller boot. I find that surprising given the price difference. Would love to know the reason(ing).
Any phone decibel meter with recording function is valuable. You don't notice an increase but it gets exhausting during longer trips. It doesn't matter if it is accurate, the relative measurements on the same roads and conditions should tell you something.
I have no good trick for suspension and such. My understanding is that the infotainment system is the same so that can largely be ignored. First reviews said the materials are the same but I would check that stuff feels good enough for your taste.
