No they don't, but your mind has been infested. It's been infected to believe that there is no middle ground. That if I'm not with you, I'm against you. That there is no center, because the center means being right-wing. If you see the center as an enemy, you have already given into the USAian mindset.
I invite you to consume less USAian media, go outside, touch grass, talk to people who have differing opinions that you do, try and ask them why and how they came to their conclusions, ask them where they come from. I would even encourage you to join a political party of your choosing and try to see how consensus is formed within it. You might come to realise that world isn't black and white.
The problem is when those people with differing opinions want to see me in an asylum for daring to not fit into their narrow view of gender roles and sexualities.
I don't know in which utopian country you live but in mine the centrist parties adopt more and more policies of a party that would stand close before being banned if they didn't get a fifth of the votes in the last election meaning that the vote to ban them will now get delayed until the fascists are in power.
There are nazis that call themselves left because they have the word "socialist" in their name. Pepe was used by nazis and the news focused on that despite it being used for nothing related to right-wing shit for ages before. I could claim I'm a cat and that the trees are blue. J.K Rowling can claim she's a feminist.
Making arguments as if there is no middle ground, no center, no gray, no middle, is an absolutist, USAian perspective.
