Mind Eraser along with the other rides in the area will be rethemed and to match the reimagined area. The SLC will receive new trains which I'm sure will be a welcome change. They will also be adding a new Nebulaz ride but it does appear that Rodeo (the breakdance) will be removed.
Hopefully the new trains work better for the ride than the floorless trains on Firebird. I'd much rather see them RMC Roar but any improvement at SFA is welcome since it's been so neglected for years.
Bite your tongue about Roar! I absolutely love that coaster and remains tied for my favorite in the park (along with RoS) 😉. I'm all for track work (would love to see Gravity Group work their magic) but I don't want to see any kind of steel track on it personally.
It's my understanding the trains they are getting are the inverted equivalent of the MK1212 trains which have been working wonders on Vekoma loopers and boomerangs for years so I'm actually pretty excited about that.
But bottom line is I'm not sure this is enough to justify the new higher prices of the passes..... I just can't justify a single park pass to Six Flags and I can't justify the cost of the pass that gets me into all the parks..... Especially with the new coaster at SFGAd being such a horribly low capacity machine. I love SFA and have for quite a while but it's still a hard park to justify a pass for and with admission being the cost of what I used to pay for a pass to all SF parks.
I do love Wild One a good bit as well.... Out and back woodies are great but I feel like Wild One is missing some speed that it should have though it's also pretty temperamental too and doesn't always give consistent rides. I really enjoy twister style coasters a lot better and Roar delivers a more consistent ride.....
But honestly, with Wildcat now being gone, I think this is an important ride to keep pretty much as is. It's one of the rare (and maybe only remaining) GCIs that was designed with PTC trains in mind.
