SAP is a German Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) employing 100k people worldwide. People working in that field, how is it nowadays?

Having worked with it, I hate it. It's the kind of software that appears to thrive on being difficult to learn. I've also used Primavera (portuguese) in the past (now called Cegid) and I found it better.
