Ah yes, the Maryest of Mary Sues, where everything he tries either succeeds (with some effort) or fails in a way that actually works out better. I don’t think I’ve ever come across a character with more luck and good fortune.
There really isn't any real 'failure' that I've seen demonstrated widely within media now that I think about it
How about a little of "Have your primary weapon destroyed, try to make allies but your ally is also debilitated by your enemy and because of that you almost die and nearly kill your other ally with it and your best ally is apparently your worst enemy so yeah you're fucked"?
