Newbie Crochet Question

I’m a knitter attempting crochet. Somehow I am skipping squares. 🤨. What am I doing wrong? I ripped out about a foot but damn. 😭

How many chains did you do on the ends to turn? This tutorial is saying to do 4. It looks to me like you either did less than that or your chains were a bit tight, which maybe made you lose track of them at the ends?

- It is supposed to be 4, but I would not be surprised if I’m doing it wrong
