The challenge is not to place blame, rather to figure out how we change the mess. The Democratic party is (with a few progressive exceptions) far right, just less far right than the Republican party.
We knew this.
And we know that they treat their progressive members as red-haired stepchildren who have to dine at their own table.
They were always the Nevile Chamberlain party. Harris and Walz sold me a bit of hope, and yeah, I fell for it, but we knew that fear and owningkilling the libs is a more viable marketing strategy. Heck, I wonder if you could sell a soft drink based on the promise, one can, one deportation.
The question now is how do we change this paradigm before we run out of water and the world population starts to starve to death, especially since police are beginning to go after mutual aid orgs.
Or do we come to terms with the human species burning itself out with industry?
