Sticking your economy in crazy seems like a bad idea China.
Probably a better idea to invade, spend a trillion dollars occupying it for 20 years and then leave, having accomplished nothing.
Worse than nothing. The Taliban gained more territory. The Northern Alliance is mostly gone.
