Good espresso in MTL?

Hey Montreal, I'm here for a week. I just had two unsuccessful attempts at having good espresso (see here), so I'm looking for a recommendation. ☺️

Depends what your taste is. I'm not a huge fan of third wave; I'd rather opt for old school Italian stuff. You can't go wrong with Olimpico or Club Social on St-Viateur, Caffé San Simeon on Dante.
- Yeah, I don't care much for the highest grade beans. I'm happy with a robusta blend so long as it's extracted well. Thanks for the suggestions!
