A really nice project which provide charts to display Linux server status and tools to manage server.
I was using DaRemote only available on Google Play Store, to do that. Recently there was an option to download it and pay it directly to the dev.
ServerBox is really awesome, in 3 minutes it convince me, open-source, secure access with biometric, select a font, etc...

I don't get it. Why wouldn't you just make this a hosted service instead of a mobile app? Better, why wouldn't you just use Prometheus for this instead of some rando tool?
2 0 ReplyTo have informations on my phone home, to easily, from anywhere check/monitor my servers and ssh on them. I selfhost CheckMK, as I'm not a Grafana fan, these tools are fine to monitor and get alerts but don't have apps...
3 0 ReplyTo not have to deploy software on the server. You can connect to any Linux Server you want and get that information.
3 0 ReplyThe instructions literally say you are doing exactly that.
Dafuq are you talking about?
3 0 ReplyThe server-side software is optional and only for push notifications and home screen widgets
3 0 ReplyYeah, so like every single other monitor platform out there that is open source and widely used.
I'm asking WHY this specific thing does something better or different?
1 0 ReplyIt's a mobile app for server monitoring that doesn't require installations on the server.
Also, is this tone really necessary?

Which instructions are you referring to? The instruction for OPTIONAL push notifications?
