I always wanted to get into the original game, but the excessive monetization ruined the experience for me.
Hopefully they tone it down a bit for this release. I don’t want to walk into the first safe area only to be bombarded with microtransactions like I’m browsing the internet without an adblocker.
I found it reasonable, aside from the stash space prices. I spent a lot of time on it and only dropped 5-10.
Excessive monetization to me is genshin impactIt won't be toned down, because they're sharing purchases between PoE1 and PoE2 so people don't lose their purchases.
All of that MTX people wear will exist on Day 1 of PoE2.
Lately they've also been rewarding full armor sets for league challenges too which is nice. There has been 3 full sets in the last 4 leagues.
