Yeah, there seem to be a bunch of unannounced tweaks. One of the medallions seemed to repair the vehicle you're driving for a couple of days, then that stopped.
This may be the most bugged season yet. It's hard to tell what's "as designed" and what's just broken. Think these are bugs: Boogies don't work in storm. Reload bugs. Uncancelable auto revive. Ejected from car from nitro ring. Invisible barriers in grass. Fall damage from just sliding. Boom bolt friendly fire damage to knocked team. And my favorite from today: all my loot dropped like I died, mid fight, but I still had 50+ white. Opponent stopped fighting thinking he killed me, I had to grab all my loot, but died when they wised up and finished me. Where's that option on the bug report drop down?
I'm noticing the game has a lot of performance issues. I play on an antique PC, and it's gotten really bogged down in the past 6-9 months. My screen/audio will freeze for five or ten seconds. Stuff fails to fully render until it's been on the screen for a few seconds. Audio occasionally gets stuck on or off (like I constantly hear a weapon noise, or a weapon stops making noise).
It's still fun, but it feels like their QA department is MIA.
I have fun with my family and friends, for sure. Its just a let down when we lose a battle because of the bugs and we think we did everything right.
I use GFN and am always dealing with lag and occasionally worse. My PC is a 6th gen i5 SFF
