Jeffery Amherst used biological warfare in the form of smallpox blankets on natives.

Probably because it’s named after https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jeffery_Amherst,_1st_Baron_Amherst who wanted to exterminate indigenous people and used smallpox blankets to try to wipe them out.
He’s small pox blanket guy?! Yeah they need a name change.
