I'm not entirely shocked by this
I am. Sony are notoriously hard asses about stuff like this. I'm glad to see they relented.
The only reason I'm not surprised is because this was basically going to kill the game. Nobody was going to play it after this change, and I don't think that's something Sony wanted to risk.
