Have we seen a "Fall through the world" glitch yet?
This category of glitch has been common in many types of games. It occurs to me that if someone ever, intentionally or unintentionally, triggers it in TOTK, they'll just end up in The Depths.

I’m not sure that’s true. Just because the game world maps are built to overlay doesn’t mean they’re loaded at the same time; we’re not sure if that would trigger a depths loading or not (it very well might)
So what happens if you clip through the ground in the Depths?
The speedrunner Limcube does say he has to be careful not to glitch through the bottom of the depths.
