Something I didn't see in the article is a note on battery quality, if buying from a discount brand, make sure to look into more information on the battery to see if it is properly certified. There have been far too many reports of ebikes catching on fire from faulty batteries.
- for sure. my wifer and my ebikes are entry level and have generic aluminium frames but the battery is Samsung
- If you don't see the full battery info specifically listed, it's safest to assume it's poorly made
