How good is oyster sauce? The good stuff, especially (I'm still on a bottle of Megachef that's lasted me over a year). Lifts up any tired old vegetable stir fry. The perfect balance of sweet, salt, and savoury ππ½γespecially with a dash of rice wine thrown in. Don't need much else.
Oh it is such a great addition to 2 minute noodles. But in soups, I have never tried that before... I'm not a huge soup person but I should give it a go in winter. I can imagine it's a nice alternative to stock powder for cheap and easy seasoning
I add the powder packets and stuff and then oyster sauce as well.
Itβs quite nice with some flavours but I totally forgot about the stir fry noodles I used to cook with oyster sauce, water, dash of sesame oil, lol bit of sugar from memory, so delicious!
