Today's preserving report: Lots of mixed berry jam made. I'm not sure at this point if it is going to set well enough, so it may be reclassified as mixed berry sauce before labelling. I ended up not doing the grilled vegetables and made 16 serves of overnight oats for the freezer instead, full of lots of yummy summer fruits.
I sometimes reboil jam the next day and use a cheat, I add will add some jamsetta. Of course that means recleaning all the jars again, which is a pain.
I am always happy to have some that doesn't set, I have plenty of things I will use it for. It is much less stress to just let the fruit decide what it wants to be and go with it π€£
